Overview
Meetings is the Zoom workflow surface for instant meetings, scheduled meetings, invite templates, and historical meeting review.
Calendar shows meeting events and can sync with Google Calendar when connected.
Meeting transcripts and recordings support downstream notes, extraction, applications, and command-center history when the meeting is connected correctly.
Requirements
- Zoom connected from Settings.
- Google Calendar connected if you want calendar sync.
- Lead or client contact records for invitations.
Walkthrough
1. Connect Zoom
Open Settings > Connections and connect Zoom. Confirm the connected Zoom account email after redirect.
2. Start an instant meeting
Open Meetings and choose Start now. Override creates a Zoom meeting on your connected account.
3. Schedule for later
Choose Schedule for later, pick a lead or client, set the meeting time, and send or copy the invite.
4. Use the meeting room
Open the meeting detail page to launch the embedded Zoom meeting and follow transcript or meeting output panels.
5. Review after the call
Return to the meeting record for transcript-backed notes, recording state, status, and related follow-up actions.

Tips
- If email sending is not configured, meeting creation can still work but invite email delivery may be unavailable.
- Calendar sync requires Google Calendar authorization separately from Zoom.
- Drive document mirror requires Google Drive authorization separately from Calendar.
Troubleshooting
Connect Zoom button loops back
Reconnect from Settings and confirm Zoom admin policy allows adding Marketplace apps.
No contacts appear in the invite panel
Create or import leads/clients first. Demo contacts only appear while demo fixtures are enabled.
