Zoom integration
Add, use, and remove Override Agency for Zoom
Override Agency uses your authorized Zoom account to create meetings, host embedded client calls, receive live meeting events, and process meeting transcripts for agent workflows.
Requirements
- An active Override Agency Platform account.
- A Zoom account that can authorize Marketplace apps.
- Permission to create and manage the meetings you host.
- A supported desktop browser for embedded meeting workflows.
Adding the app
Connect Zoom from your Override Agency account. The authorization flow redirects to Zoom, asks for permission, and then returns you to the platform.
- 1. Sign in: Log in to the Override Agency Platform.
- 2. Open Settings: Go to Settings, then open Connections.
- 3. Choose Zoom: Select Connect Zoom.
- 4. Authorize: Review the Zoom permission screen and approve access for the account you use to host client meetings.
- 5. Confirm: After Zoom redirects back, the Zoom connection row shows the connected account email.
Using the app
Schedule client meetings
Create meetings from the Meetings area or from a lead/client workflow. Override creates the Zoom meeting on the connected Zoom account.
Host embedded calls
Open a scheduled meeting in Override to use the embedded meeting room and the live transcript sidebar.
Receive live transcript delivery
When Zoom transcript events are available, Override stores transcript turns against the meeting record and uses them for call notes, extraction, and review.
Review post-call output
After a meeting, open the meeting or command center history to review transcript-backed notes, extracted fields, and follow-up material.
Removing the app
Remove from Override
- 1. Log in to Override Agency.
- 2. Open Settings, then Connections.
- 3. Find Zoom and select Disconnect.
- 4. Confirm the disconnect action.
Remove from Zoom
- 1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- 2. Open Manage, then Added Apps.
- 3. Find Override Agency.
- 4. Select Remove and confirm.
Removing the app stops new Zoom API access and prevents Override from creating meetings through that Zoom account. Existing meeting records, transcripts, notes, and extracted fields remain in Override according to the account retention rules in the Privacy Policy unless you request deletion or your account is deleted.
Data handling
- OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are used to request Zoom access tokens when the agent uses a Zoom feature.
- Zoom meeting IDs, join/start URLs, participant and meeting metadata, transcript turns, and related processing status may be stored with the meeting record.
- Meeting transcript data is used to produce agent-requested notes, extraction, script-following, coaching, and follow-up workflows.
- Override does not sell or rent Zoom user data and does not use Zoom data for third-party advertising.
See the Privacy Policy for the full data handling and deletion policy.
Troubleshooting
The Zoom authorization screen does not open
Confirm you are logged in to Override. The connect URL is only available to authenticated agent accounts.
Zoom says the app cannot be installed
Your Zoom account may require admin approval for Marketplace apps, or the app may still be limited to beta/private distribution.
The connection succeeds but meetings fail to create
Reconnect Zoom from Settings so Override receives a fresh authorization grant, then try creating the meeting again.
Live transcript or post-call output is missing
Confirm the meeting was created or opened through Override and that the Zoom meeting reached the connected state before the call began.
Contact support
For Zoom connection issues, include your Override account email, the Zoom account email you tried to connect, the meeting time, and any error message shown on screen.
